29 May 2006  SOUTHEND AIR SHOWW

This annual treat for Southend and Leigh had to compete with the elements this Bank Holiday week end but Mrs Monk was determined get me out competing with the day trippers for the prime spots along the front and not exactly winning. Being in the right place at the right time was certainly a challenge for Mrs. Monk, armed with her Nikon, which only occasionally found a target.  If only she was ready when that huge Lancaster went over the town rooftops sideways as it were. You had to be there.
