Google ads that adorn these pages are there to make money for Google
We provide copy for Google and they sell advertising that is exposed to traffic generated by this and many other web sites. The ads are generated instantly and are page specific to make them relevant to the content of the page that you have visited, and frequently to unintentionally comic effect. The computer generator that does this at Google HQ has no sense of humour which is why we are able to laugh at it, with some satisfaction.
Please note that no one at Shoestringonline is going on holiday with the income generated by these ads. The self proclaimed “ethical” company, Google, do not reveal what they make out of these ads, but they seem to be doing very well.
As an experiment I will challenge Google to respond to my content by offering them a single word. The word of the month is chosen by pointing randomly at today's edition of the Southend ECHO which I only have, because our neighbour is on the front page.
Our neighbour is embarrassed by the article, so I will not reproduce it here, as. much as I would like to. Accordingly, the word of the month is BEDROOM
