Andrew Marr invited Carol Vorderman onto his TV Sofa this morning and asked her to comment on today’s news agenda. She described Tony Blair as a “warmonger” citing “Iraq”, moments after chastising Western governments and Tony Blair in particular for not intervening or invading Sudan.
This would be a humanitarian invasion or intervention into Sudan, since there is a potential genocide to be inflicted by the Arab powers that be in Sudan. Liberal celebrity endorsement for the invasion or intervention of Sudan were spearheaded by George Cloony this week.
Tony Blair was able to invade Iraq with the backing of Parliament, and even Claire Short, because he managed to convinced us that Iraq had Weapons of Mass Destruction. Most people in Britain were able to support Tony Blair since most people had a selfish interest in avoiding death by Weapons of Mass Destruction. Tony Blair would not have been able to intervene or invade Iraq and remove Saddam Hussain who had, it seems demonstrated a willingness to engage in genocide against the Kurds by using, Weapons of Mass Destruction, and since that genocide did not appeal to the majority of those in the West, who had no self interest in the survival of the Kurds.
Tony Blair is about to be kicked out of No 10 and may already be packing his bags. This is happening because he is perceived to be “warmonger” by Carol Vorderman and others.
Andrew Marr, and Carol Vorderman seemed to be calling for Tony Blair to intervene in Sudan but this is unlikely to happen because in the west we have no selfish interest in such an adventure.
You might say that Carol Vorderman is a Warmonger for suggesting that Tony Blair intervenes or invades Sudan. And in the unlikely event that some brave statesman were to send in the troops and it all went horribly wrong, you can be assured that Carol Vordaman would be available to point the finger of blame
